Mark Levin said the Dims were stalling the process to replace many holdovers who require security clearance by dragging out the approval for their security clearance.

People literally fly into DC from all over the country to work in govt agencies and when they retire, they get DC salary but live in Tampa or ATL or Charlotte. It’s a giant scam
How is this any kind of scam? I know car mechanics and Wall Street lawyers who retired to Florida, frequently for taxes but also because the weather makes old age thins like arthritis and blood pressure easier to manage.

Now those kind, those are pretty damn good with adhering to chain of command, and strongly understand and give proper attention to accountability.

I like em too, lest there be any misunderstanding.
There is this myth that there are these big buildings where all these people work in Washington when in fact its boots on the ground that make up the employees not paper pushers.
DHS has a not huge building in DC but oversees 70,000 border and customs guards (and even more if you include the immigration courts, detention centers, etc.).

No misunderstanding, and I'm with you on all of that. It's sorta hard to wrap one's mind around the breadth of it. Indeed it's mostly spread out in all corners of the country.

D.C.'s mostly the top level admin, their staff, of course similar to other regions "local" employees to handle D.C. regional matters, maybe oversight ("quality control" lol) departments for the various agencies, and smattering of other miscellaneous employees.
But of course D.C. would house the most threatening potential troublemakers for top matters.
