Is this about pirates, as in the rum drinking, patch wearing, parrot on shoulder pirates? Or Somali Pirates or some shite?

The GF thought I was a nerd before with my podcast taste, now when she listens in on this one with me she makes sure to comment on my nerdiness

Two very solid choices! I almost wish that Dan would edit his stuff down, but it only comes out once every six months so maybe not.

LpoL is a must listen for me as soon as it comes out. Love their humor and deep dives into the nerdy shite that I find interesting.

The last series on Mormons was fricking great. The first series I listened to was the Donner Party. I was blown away, to say the least. Everything they have done since has kind of disappointed me because that was so good. The Mormonism series absolutely blew it away. They have really outdone themselves.

Sidenote: I tried to listen to other stuff by them like "Abe Lincoln's Tophat", but it is a politics show and they can go waaay left of what this board (and myself sometimes) can stomach.
