Dems say Nevermind we don't need to hear from the whistle blower

The whistleblower who initially unmasked President Trump’s effort to pressure Ukraine for political favors has moved steadily toward the periphery of the House impeachment inquiry as several Democrats said Thursday they have ample testimony from senior Trump administration officials to back his claims.
Democrats were once prepared to take extraordinary steps to preserve the whistleblower’s identity under questioning, considering him central to their investigation. But over the past month, they have grown cold to the idea of exposing him to additional scrutiny after several witnesses described how Trump leveraged access and military aid to secure a promise from Ukraine to launch investigations that could help his 2020 reelection bid.
A person familiar with the discussions between the whistleblower and House investigators, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss private talks, said Thursday that there are no active efforts to arrange for the individual’s testimony. A spokesman for House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.), who is leading the inquiry, declined to comment.

“This is the role that whistleblowers play: Whistleblowers are the people who set off a process by telling the truth,” said Rep. Jamie B. Raskin (D-Md.), who has participated in the impeachment inquiry as a member of the Oversight Committee. “The whistleblower will go down in history as a hero for kicking off this process. But the whistleblower is no longer integral to the investigation in any way.”

Yeah.
Ya know, I thought this was an absurd idea, but.........

Dems need more closed door meetings to improve their talking points.
Nobody is buying their lies and salting fake news with the same comments from different dems is not working.

The most important point. As drama concerning the President dies down, Democrats in Congress "find" another "whistleblower" to "leak" just enough information for them to feel justified in starting yet another investigation. Their main focus is to keep the President mired in a continual cycle of investigations so as to try to commit a "soft" coup (at the very least trying to paint him as too scandal-ridden to be worth re-electing).
I don't think Raskin understood the full truth of what he said.

This is following Russiagate to a T.
- Democrats gin up allegations of some offense (Steele dossier/whistleblower)
- Allies in the media and intelligence run with it, treating it as gospel
- Democrats demand to "investigate" the allegations, while only focusing on circumstantial evidence or testimony which casts the subject of the investigation in a negative light
- Democrats then distance themselves from the source of the initial allegations while simultaneously cranking up their impeachment machine
- Any questioning of the initial source material is met with charges of "playing politics" or "obstruction"

BS. The administration is not playing along with this farce. They have zero testimony from any administration officials.
