TOY doesn’t necessarily mean he is a great teacher. It meant he was willing to jump through all the hoops required to be considered and spend his off months doing certain activities required of the award winner.

I’m not a teacher. A family member of mine does teach there though and I am close to a member of the admin there.

You do otherwise hear great things about it, but isn't the enrollment approaching like 3000 students? I wonder how long they will be able to maintain without another HS opening up in Ascension.

There is another HS being built, supposed to be ready next year and another in 5 years over by RPCC
On being built is behind the Piggly Wiggly (currently Rouses)

A new high school being built in AP? I don’t think so, next one on the plans is in Prairieville Parker and 929 ( the old pig wig you speak of) but has not started and won’t for a while

That one is scheduled to be built before the 2021 school year or it may be like Bullion as it is finished during the school year while students attend.

Not much to tell yet, plus DTHS and APSB will do everything in their power to sweep this under the rug and attempt to not let the news media get a hold of his name and release it.

Yeah, I’m hearing that new high school won’t be open for at least 7 years, closer to 10 probably.
