I’ll never understand how Rispone thinks constantly touting his fealty to Trump on national political issues is the best way to persuade voters.
Every single Trump voter is already voting for him.

Need to make sure Rispone wins. Soros and Bezos will be busing people in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shitport to the polls to vote JBE.

no, I'm just saying Bezos's business interests are not really affected by whoever happens to be governor of Louisiana. Bezos does and should pay a lot of attention and spend a lot of lobbying money in DC, and in states like NY and CA. Louisiana or Mississippi, yeah an internet billionaire only cares who gets elected there if politics happens to be his hobby.

Probably also his smartest electoral strategy. He's never been an elected official and so he's never had to make one political decision that inevitably disappointed one or more people. He can be a total riddle, all things to all people. He realizes that just by being a Republican he is guaranteed about 45% of the vote in this runoff, and figures he only needs to not screw up to have a good chance of scooping up 6% more.
What's he going to say- "I think we don't need another bridge in Baton Rouge or a traffic loop, sorry guys but it's a bad use of state money, if you don't like it raise the money locally"? Hell no. He's not going to give anyone a specific answer about anything.
