Exactly. Will/Trieu used one of the flying "skycrane" vehicles shown which were being used to build the large "clock" outside of Tulsa.

Which is why Trieu was being asked about them and records of their use.

Another neat thing vehicle-wise: if you listen closely to cars in the show, they are all electric. This was a point made in the original comic, that by the time of the big squid event Dr. Manhattan figured out a way to make mass quantities of efficient lithium batteries, and as a result, by the 1980s, electric cars have made gas guzzlers obsolete and car charging stations were seen everywhere in the "city" comic drawings.

Remind me again, what were the pills in the glovebox?

My old nugget is struggling tonight.

Old Will’s pills. We just know he “needed” them.

Ahhhhhh, okay. I get it. So now when he says he actually strung up the chief, and when he gets up and walks away from Lady Trieu (no wheelchair) .... so it could be the pills.

Wonder why they wanted Laurie and Angela to find the pills though? Or did he leave them there by accident?

Angela took them to the lab right .... or Laurie did?

Angela took them to Looking Glass to get them tested outside of the PD.

All Laurie knows is that Will's fingerprints were in the car.

Thatttttt's right.

Damn, I need to rewatch it. I caught it all the first time I just forgot some of it until I a, reminded.

Usually, if I see something more than once I'll remember it better.

I think after episode 3, there were so many nods to the original material that if you’re not familiar then you’re not going to enjoy this show. If you don’t know the original material, it just seems like a weird dystopian KKK vs liberal society which it’s not

I'm not familiar with the og material but I am still very much so enjoying it. Might watch the movie or read the comics/graphic novel or whatever it is if I can find it online for free.

The music tonight was excellent. Loved the different renditions of Careless Whisper throughout with some Sturgill Simpson thrown in there as well

So is Veidt on Phobos or Deimos? Was that Mars he’s orbiting?

Yeah, Dr. Manhattan must have set up a prison for him on Mars' moons while he's trying to create life on Mars. Maybe he's using Veidt to test out his creations?

Who was the masked game warden beating the shite out of Veidt?

I just want to make sure i followed this episode correctly. Veidt is who killed the 3 million people in New York? Not the giant fricking squid? I wasn’t sure I understood the video that looking glass watched.

One of the clones ... I think.

Anyways, loved the backstory on Looking Glass tonight.

My guess is the warden is some creation of Dr. Manhattan, or perhaps Dr. Manhattan himself.

Adrian Veidt is the one who genetically engineered the giant squid and teleported it on top of Manhattan. It was all part of his plan to prevent nuclear war by uniting the US and USSR against a common enemy.

This was the original ending of the comics that was changed for the movie.

Speaking of Ray Donovan's S7 premier tonight .... good gosh I hope her character is not a bad harbinger of things to come in this series.
