The baked beans look sad.

Good call. They were weak. Chicken was the best I've ever had though

I don't know that I'm willing to say that, but it's damn good.

ETA, the beans are like straight out of a can.

It’s common knowledge that the sides at Gus’s struggle, but you’re there for the chicken, and that is how it is suppose to be.

ate at the original Memphis location, the thighs and drums were amazing but don't overlook the tenders. they were huge and super crispy.

This was in Long Beach. It my fail due to price. It was $15 for 3pcs plate with an iced tea. And they have servers so $18 total. A lot of people are not going to want to pay $18 for a 3pcs fried chicken lunch. There was 2 other tables having business lunches and one other table with a family. For me it was definitely worth it but the riff raff will be priced out and tbh there's a lot of riff raff in the LBC.

It's like $9 in New Orleans. A bit pricier than say Popeyes, but not outrageously so.
