Curious how Prior will do has pitching coach. Yankees have interviews or have interviewed the Razorbacks pitching coach And University of Michigan pitching coach. A lot of people want David Cone. Steve Karsay was mentioned and a few have mentioned Dave Reighetti in order to lure Bumgarner.

Arkansas lost their pitching coach last year to the Twins, and now here come you fricks a year later.

But can't be too mad, DVH is a hell of a coach and his tree is doing quite well already.

They want someone who can reach the younger players since they plan on having Schmidt/Garcia up at some point and want Severino/Louisaga to step up. German is a WC since no one knows what is going on with him. We've heard very little of his domestic violence case.

Matt Hobbs is the Arkansas pitching coach. He was at Wake Forest when they started building the pitching lab they have now. He's from Mizzou. I think he may have been there around the same time as new Padres manager Jayce Tingler. I know he was there when Tennessee HC Tony Vitello was there.

Hobbs is very highly thought of in the industry for how he is incorporating new technology into his approach to managing a staff.

Austin Nola looks like he will be starting for the M's next year and then playing a super utility role once highly regarded prospect Evan White is ready

Believe it or not, the Dodgers make the most sense for Cole. In LA, where he wants to be and a competent organization.

The Angels just arent a good enough organization to see him sign there long term.

Either way I hope he goes back to the NL.

Cole is a smart man, he would take 5 years 225 million as opposed to 7 years 245. Then play it by ear at 35-38

Good for Nola. I can't imagine how good it feels for these career minor leaguers to get their shot in the bigs and end up sticking.

Wes Johnson is definitely one of the top in the industry. Surprised it took that long for an MLB team to call him up

Cole, Kershaw, Buehler, May, Hill/Maeda

What would stop them?

Turner, Bellinger, Seager, Muncy, Hill on offense
