Could just be resting,minor injury, or hell just doing some school related stuff. Wish we were all healthy

This week is mid-terms. To be honest I'm surprised more players haven't been absent.

There's many reasons why...
A) he wasn't with full team practicing during media allowed portion
B) he didn't practice at all, on a particular day
... none of them bad.
Such as film room, individual training/conditioning (as above), schoolwork (yes- really... school), etc.

Being "out" is unable to practice.
Being "elsewhere" is practicing and/or training but not with the team, at that time, at the same place.
Being "not at practice" means he is able to (thus "out"), is not practicing at all, anywhere. I.e., voluntary.
It's stupid counts like you that turn someone off taking a test or other responsibilities into sky is falling apocalypse is upon us hair on fire panic stricken rumors.
