Anything that doesn't result in a loss with a Greinke start is considered lagniappe in my book
I'm not relying on him in any way when I have 2 guys that can "will" me a win

I'm holding out hope on Greinke. He had a 2.38 era in 6 starts in playoffs when with the Dodgers. I know he struggled in Arizona and yesterday, but it's not like he has never performed during this time of year.
Also, 12.2 innings of 3 ER vs Yankees this year for him gives me hope. Rays got him both times this year, so not all hope is lost yet.

Bad starts happen.
Gerrit Cole even had one last year against Boston.
So did Verlander.
It's not like they have another option vs. the Yankees if they get there. Greinke is going to get two starts if the series goes the distance.

It's pretty damn perfect. 
1 PM wasn't terrible either... I work remotely so I took the laptop to the bar (don't get MLB network) and watched while I worked and had a few pints.
The games starting at 9 or 10 PM... that's rough with a toddler in the house.
