What’s the loudest you’ve heard Death Valley?

For the sake of it being Florida week, the loudest I’ve ever heard the valley shake was October 2007 in the famous fourth down game with the game winning Hester TD.
Early in the fourth quarter Dan Bourne “Final from Los Angeles....Stanford 24 USC 23”
The moment the stadium knew LSU was playing for a chance to be #1 in the country was the loudest I’ve ever experienced and it’s one time in history I’ll never forget.
What’s yours?

Same. Maybe the game-winner against Auburn was a close 2nd for me, but that UF game was fricking rowdy.

Same game. Byrd's TD catch two weeks late is a close second.

2003 UGA
followed by 2007 UF when they announced USC score
1997 UF honorable mention. And Bama 2012 and 2014 had their moments, but frick those games.

it's a tie for me.
The announcement of the Stanford/USC score in 2007 during the Florida game.
Then when Mettenberger hit Landry for the TD against Alabama in 2012, a close second was JC Copeland's romp down the sideline from the same game.

This one has all the ingredients to be just as rowdy.

UGA 2003 was shockingly loud in retrospect. Whenever they scored on that long screen pass play and the crowd immediately started chanting L-S-U - I've never felt like the stadium was more in-sync.
Auburn 03 is forgotten about but it was deafeningly loud on that first series. Think there was a bit of a delay for rain so the game started later than normal. I think Lavalais had a big sack to end Auburn's first series and it just snowballed from there. Great environment.
07 UF is definitely up there though (along with UF '97, Bama '12, Bama '08 when the Tigers blocked the FG).
For as much shite as fans get for their attitude in the stadium, Tiger Stadium will still be rocking in big games and big moments.

I've been to most, if not all, of the renowned TS games over the last two decades. The most deafening sustained noise was UF 1997. It was incomparable. Made the flesh quiver. The loudest single moment is more difficult to determine. Mauck to Green, the announcement during the 2007 UF game, and the late game FG block against Bama all come to mind.

I wasn’t at the 2007 Florida game but I was there for the 2012 Alabama game and that was the loudest I’ve ever heard it.

Single moment wise, that one is way up there IMO

That play was a thing of beauty. I really thought we were gonna win. The 2012 Bama game is the loudest I've ever heard Tiger Stadium get in a loss. That was the game where Scott Van Pelt went on and on about how fantastic the atmosphere was.
The loudest I've heard Death Valley get was the Florida game in 1997. I was a kid then, and my ears were ringing until the next morning.

I was there for the 07 Florida and Auburn games, as well as this Bama game. I think it was 08..? And we lost in OT if I remember correctly..?

2007 florida, right after the usc score was announced and it isnt close. To floridas credit tebow took them right down the field for a score and my ears were hurting

When LSU blocked Alabama's short game winning field goal in 2008.
Pandemonium

Best moment in LSU sports history, IMO.
When every other fanbase in America would get deflated by the other team scoring, LSU's fans willed its team to victory.
Absolutely incredible.

I mean. to be honest, the first few defensive series of the Bama game last year were unbelievably loud.
Posted on 10/7/19 at 12:13 pm to TigerFanatic234
Leonard’s runs against Auburn in 2015 were very loud. Same against Ole Miss in 2016. The Todd Harris INT against Bama last year had the place rocking
