Agree, BUT should championships not be about "the best"...
this is a version of "everyone gets a trophy" ....for the sake of money IMO.

So unless the playoffs are 4 SEC teams then it’s a participation trophy?

I agree with you 100 percent. There is how it should be and how it actually is. It’s all about the money.

Ohio State is a great team. Who knows they may be one of the best teams in the nation. You have seen the QB talent they are putting out there. We were the prime beneficiary of that developed talent. We got Joe Burrow.

It’s all about eyeballs. For college football to generate a max profit, you need more participation from schools that aren’t in the south.
