What that sob has done to this state is horrific.
Please explain.
Well lets start with his raising of billions of taxes on the back of regular Louisiana taxpaying folks. After he lied through his teeth when asked are you going to raise taxes on the middle class....From there we move to his first move as governor... Wanting to protect the the LGBTQ crowd... All 20 of them in Louisiana. Him and his trial lawyer buddies have sued the oil and gas industry into oblivion. Causing them to leave for Texas and causing my son and others to have to work in North Dakota and Texas. He is a liberals liberal and truth ain't in him.... Should I go on because I can? How about his cronies fighting tort reform that would lower your car insurance? We are the only state not growing in Trump's economy.... Fact.... Need more? Why don't you know this? Jesus

Huh....he raised taxes the most they've ever been raised in this state and expanded Medicare to unsustainable levels.....that's pretty damn liberal in my book.
Yes, for you and anyone on this forum it is, but like it or not the vast majority of uninformed voters out there only give a shite about social issues.
While JBE spends like a madman, he:
- Is pro 2nd amendment
- Is anti abortion
- Keeps his mouth shut on racial issues
That's why the GOP candidates need to hammer him on issues plaguing the state and not bragging about how socially conservative they are.

47 this close in is not good news for Republicans.....The only happy Republican the night of Oct 12 will most probably be Steve Scalise.

This board is littered with horseshite that amount to nothing. If they paid that much attention to state goings on this state would be so much better off.... Trump will not be touched.... But we are gearing up to elect a fricking lying arse pos democrat as governor again.... No one cares.... Shame and a fricking disgrace

That "Honor Code" bullshite has so many people fooled. They think because "he's a good man" that he's doing a good job running our state.
frick optics, give me results.

But he IS a psychotic liberal! Ask all the companies that he basically told to locate in Texas. The liberal MSM isn’t going to cover any of his failures, bullying legislators to pass his taxes, or the debt hole he put us in on Day 1 in office.

Same, and I’m even starting to question that with the direction things are going. Why stay and be afraid of the lack of quality jobs, foaming at the mouth pi lawyers, taxes out off the arse, and generally shitty environment to raise kids?

Unfortunately, that is not true. They are about 40ish leaning JBE, and 25/25 Rispone/Abraham (or something like that).
not good

It’s time for Ralphie to drop out of the race. At his point he’s just a state-level Kasich.

How’s the economy in Louisiana? I no longer live there, so just curious .

Our jobs numbers took a bad nosedive between the end of 2014 through the middle of 2016 and into 2017. They've been improving since 2018.
Unemployment has been around 4.3 most of this year.

Absolutely atrocious. This will be the first year in 3 with positive GDP growth, but it will still be less than half of a percent. It fallows two consecutive years of GDP shrinking paired with substantial population losses. It feels like the whole state is slowly sinking while the rest of the country takes off. So many of my friends have left in the last 3 years. Most of them never had any intention of leaving, grew up in a town where no one hardly ever moves away, with what’s supposed to be one of the economic bright spots in the state, but there simply isn’t any opportunities here for them, and they’re thriving in greener pastures out west.
I don’t want to go, but I wonder how long I can hold out before I’m the only one in my group of friends left. How long before I’ll have to leave too?

Eddie Rispone can go to hell with all of those effing youtube ads.

From the BR Advocate, JBE's staunchest campaign supporter August 16th:
"Louisiana lost 1,000 jobs from July 2018 through July 2019 — making it the only state that lost jobs over that period."

Thanks for the updates guys. When I lived there, Louisiana was still heavily reliant to the Oil industry.. At times, the US economy was worse than Louisiana and sometimes vice versa based on what oil was doing.

wth? Sounds like the Rispone campaign bought a poll from a guy standing at a booth in the Walmart.
