Knew the processing was coming but didn’t think it would be Jenkins.

I’m in the minority here and thought he was very good. Really thought a couple others would be processed first before him. Wonder that happened.

Honestly, with the expected commitment of Jacobian Guillory, we may be better off. Opens up another spot where we can take a RB (Zach Evans) and add either Dumervil or Donell Harris. I would not be terribly upset over this one whether it’s a process or not. We have a hell of a D-line haul coming in

I honestly think this one was the kid doing it on his own. Don’t think we processed him. He’s getting bad advice from those around him though because it’ll be hard for a kid like that to come back around to LSU this class. That ship has probably sailed for him already. Let’s hope for him he made the right call.

But, like I said, don’t see this being a process. We need all the guys at the 3-4 end spot we can get in this class and he is a guy the staff liked a lot when he came on board, can’t see their opinion of him changing that much between then and now but what do I know?

Respect my decision is the biggest bs thing ever. If you disrespect the school by decommitting you earn what you get.

With our need of DL there was no way he was processed. O loved him when he saw him and I thought he was going to be a diamond in the rough for LSU. Hopefully we can get him back or find another player who is just as good.

LSU is the hottest name in football right now and we get a decommit?

Where the hell is Vol? He’ll straighten all of this speculation out.

IDK. Either processed or he just got scared of the numbers LSU is bringing in. With Guillory (who most think will be a Tiger, LSU that is), Lee, Roy, Berry and Taylor, that's a lot of competition. If the kid is scared of competition, he best off going somewhere else.

Jenkins was not processed. but he's playing a dangerous game, there's too many top rated recruits trying to get in an almost full class. If he wants to be at LSU he better jump back on board quick or the train will leave the station. I don't have any direct source but my guess is after he's gotten some national accolades and attention someone close to him gave him bad advice and told him to "open it up".

IDK. Yes, he got his 4th star, but was that more of the "LSU impact?" He's a good player, very quick, but I am not personally a fan of smaller DLs. He's 6-2, 285. LSU plays a 3-4. Where's he fit on that?

LSU recruited him when not a lot f other big programs were. He was a 3-star. He commits to LSU, gets more recognition, gets his 4-star, and moved on. I won't be heartbroken.

Respect my decision.

It’s not that Jenkins isn’t a god player, he is. But if LSU picks up Guillory, as most think we will, we would have a great d-line class.

I would give up Jenkins if it meant his spot opening up allowed us to add a quality offensive lineman and quality running back to this class. This class desperately needs an offensive lineman added and you need at least one running back in every class.

FWIW on Jenkins, I'm told he's got some in his corner in his ear that he should be being treated like an alpha dog like Roy and Guillory, so he needs to look around for something better. From the sounds of it, the staff has already told him "you shop, we shop" and this boat isn't waiting around on anyone this cycle.
