Not for nothing but why in the wide world of sports does some half-assed, NYC DA get to even think they can try to decide who gets to be president by pulling a bunch of horse shite legal shennanigans?
Who are they gonna drag out next, some elected dog-catcher?...

Been kinda out the loop today, but I think your link took me to a DDC case- the Drudge story I saw earlier is about the NYC DA trying to get the Baddest of All of the Baddy Orangey Men Ever on violations of NY state law based the muh Stormy payment.
Interesante. An NDA, a completely Constitutionally protected & legal transaction at any state level and would have to be enforced civilly.
The State of NY cannot criminally prosecute a sitting president. Therefore, the subpoena will be quashed.
The NYC DA's office is doing nothing more than campaigning for the dims and making bad headlines for Trump, which Drudge is happy to oblige.
So frick drudge; that's why I rarely go there anymore; his headlines have more and more begun to look more and more decaturdles posts.
Trust. Crowdstrike.

Why doesn't Trump just put it all out like he said he was and make all of this moot?
Everyone knows the audit excuse is bullshite, right?

Sure, he will get an honest assessment of his taxes from this media, just like they have treated Kavanaugh honestly.
The media and the general public are too stupid to understand his taxes.
frick that shite.

Aren't you the slightest bit curious?

About what?
We have an entire government agency whose job it is to check tax returns.
And let's be honest here. It's not like Mueller didn't look.
You know there's nothing there.
But you are also a giant piece of shite who thinks there might be something politically usable
In other words you're scum as always

Not in the least.

Why? What would prohibit them if they for some reason decided to take that path?

If you have any intellectual honesty you will admit that the only value such information would have would be to damage him politically. So it could be spun through MSMBC like a cotton candy machine, right?
If he was doing anything criminal, then the IRS, i.e. feds who reviewed that the same information you seek, with the very easy power to investigate, fine, prosecute, lien, etc., would have done so, right?
Like weaponizing governmental branches/law enforcement much, decaturdles?
