Even Florida is going to have better upgrades

So Arky, USCe, State, Florida, A&M, Ole Miss... all going to have better fan experiences if they don’t already.

No reason not to have all chair backs or fixing the batters eye. A berm is just never going to happen at the current location and setup. Would be a huge change.

From a fan perspective, pretty much.

The players have it really nice still though compared to everyone else. Still a top 10 place for the players nationally.

I also recommend taking down the "Intimidator".

When you are consistently losing home playoff series, the place isn't intimidating at all anymore.

We have lost what, 5 or 6 of the last 9 regionals or supers we hosted? That's just....just not LSU baseball.

Hopefully Woodward can work some magic.

Marshall is building a $22MM baseball stadium.

But I was told that universities aren't investing in their baseball programs. Weird.

It wasn't that great to begin with. You can't exactly claim to have a super nice stadium when most of your seating is metal bleachers and you have a large maintenance equipment yard 20 feet from your outfield wall.

Florida's new stadium looks nice but still looks like it only seats half of the box, at best.

Only real upgrade the box needs is placing the bleachers with chairbacks. I did like the video strip board too though in that florida video.

It’s sized right for that fan base. Size is overrated even at LSU which now only fills the stadium during Supers.

Will they have bullpens? I’ll never understand why LSU didn’t add this feature to the new stadium.

Because they wanted it to “feel” like the old box and that was considered a must-have.

I'd like a new coach first.

This. The new Alex Box is one of if not the best stadium for players and recruits which is the most important people you want to take care of and the whole reason the new stadium was built. They didn’t have room at the old site to expand the player experience.

With that said they do need to upgrade the fan experience.

I'm still amazed the bleachers in left field are still there.

The seating down the lines need to be upgraded to chairbacks.

"Let's spend a ton of money to build a brand new stadium, but let's only half arse it so that it can feel like outdated turd we left behind."

GREAT LOGIC

Are you saying that the new Alex Box Stadium is a legacy stadium? That's a weird fricking stance.
