ok - that’s a different debate. Let’s say we’re not at half discovery as the earlier equation stated. Let’s say we are at a fraction of that. Let’s do 12%. So as of today, we have only discovered 12% of all oil that exists.
That means the Earth produces 320k barrels/ yr. Far short of the 90M/yr we consume.
400k years is probably a stretch.
