This is the 4 series and the 75” size is new for 2019. $799 is the current price on amazon, walmart, and best buy.

I’m looking for a budget 75” panel that would not do terrible with showing a football game. I know the smaller sizes of the 4 series are pretty highly rated here. Should I pull the trigger on the 75”?

If you're willing to go down to 65", Best Buy is offering the 6 series for 729 right now.

I saw these (TCL) at Sam's the other day. I was tempted to get one but the price differential to Samsung kind of threw me off. Do these TVs suck that bad?

I have the 65" 6 series in the bedroom and it is excellent for a cheaper tv. You should have no problems watching football on it. My only complaint is that you can sort of see the backlight in the corners more than the middle of the tv when it is showing dark scenes.
