I was also there and, unfortunately, surrounded by Bama fans. For most of the first half it did not feel like that, at least not on D, to me or those guys. Until that series where Burrow was sacked on the 1 and LSU had a bad punt giving Alabama the ball back at their own 45 (despite the Waddle fumble) was when the feel of the game changed and it appeared the rout was on.

So the Gumps acted like it was an away game in a hostile environment and LSU acted like it was the biggest home game of the season? That’s what I got from that. Crowd was lit as well. Same way it was vs Georgia.

In all seriousness, if you hold bana to under 30, that's not bad, especially when the offense can't sustain drives.

You forgot to add in our game was the first game all season they kept their starters in through the first quarter. Moral victory at its finest.
