Andrew Jackson killed an opponent in a duel well before taking office.

If you stack three dice on top of each other and add up the numbers of the hidden faces and the top exposed face, it will always equal 21.

My bad. I knew he'd been in several duels but I forgot he'd actually killed a guy.

If that is the standard, I would assume Eisenhower supervised the killing of hundreds of thousands in the ETO during WWII.

I would think Washington killed at least one redskin when he was a a colonial officer, then supervised the killing of thousands during the revolution. And our former Presidents were full of military leaders Grant, Taylor, Harrison, ....

A dead pope was once put on trial. The corpse put up a stiff defense but was found guilty.

I do not know the history between you two, but Kafka, I believe his first post was more of a correction than an attempt to "gotcha".

Clearly, he went to the well once too often and he did attempt to embarrass you on the second one, he was inaccurate and therefore, incorrect.

Fun fact, manhole covers are round so they cannot be dropped back through the hole. Some folks contest this, but I'm correct and I refuse to listen to any other reasons.

Late in World War II the Germans developed an attachment to allow the StG. 44 to fire around corner. There were two versions, one for the infantry and one for Panzer crews. The angle of fire varied from 30 degrees all the way to 90 degrees. The 90 degree version was intended to allow Panzer crews to poke the rifle out of a hatch and engage enemy infantry swarming their tank.
