D. Johnson or L. Bell

Full pt. PPR. 5th pick. Assuming these two are there, all things remain equal between now and draft (Sunday night), and one of these two is the desired choice, who would you take? It's pretty much a toss up in my mind.

Darryl do you have a first round grade on Bell for 2019?

What about if Kamara and Bell were both on the board?

I don’t know if I’d trust either with the 5th pick. Bell’s been out of the league for a year and is with a new team. The Cardinal’s offense looks putrid.
I’d probably go Bell over Johnson, but I’d look at Gurley, Hopkins, MT13 and a few others before I’d go with Bell or Johnson. IMHO

I’m picking 6 and I’m going WR unless zeke falls to 6

It was last year and DJ did fine. Looks like he'll have a ton of receptions this year. Bell is a stud but I don't trust Adam Gase (in general as a person or his offense) or that franchise. Not considering Bell this season. I'm 4th in a 12 team and have been considering Hopkins. Feels like the safest pick there and good RBs have been available in the 2nd and 3rd rounds in my mocks.

Luckily I have the 3rd pick, so I get one of the top RBs. But my next few guys are top WRs.

Probably about the same, but I’d personally prefer Adams in that spot this year

Exactly. He did fine, which isn’t exactly a bust but it isn’t what you want out of a first round player. If we’re being honest DJ was a second round guy last year. I know because I had him. I think his value jumps in PPR this year because he’s going to catch a lot more balls but I don’t have any faith in Murray, Kingsbury or that defense that leads me to believe he’s worth the 5th overall pick.
Cardinals are going to be throwing, ALOT, so like I said I think it would be fine to take him at 5 in full PPR but even half PPR or standard Id look at Bell, Chubb, Conner or Adams/Hopkins

I pretty much agree with all of that. The more I consider DJ/new system, the more I lean towards gambling on Zeke or taking Hopkins at 4 (full PPR league). But I'd still take DJ over Bell in all formats. Drafting behind a Dallas fan so I'm hoping he takes Zeke and I won't have to worry about any of this.

He was RB9 (10 standard).
He had three games in single digits and only five below 13 points.
He was definitely worth a first rounder last year and that was with only 50 catches.
If he gets 75 (he had 80 in 2016) this year and gets his YPC back up to around 7 (7.8 in 2016 compared to 5.7 last year) and his rushing yards up to around 1100 (940 last year 1249 in 2016) I think he’s easily a top 5 RB and depending on his TDS could push for #1 the same way he did in 2016.

There were 10-12 guys that would have been taken over him, which to me isn’t a first rounder. And yeah he’s going to catch a ton of passes because the Cardinals will be god awful. Like I said, PPR, he probably is a first round pick. But in standard I’m not touching him
