But it is a hot take when youre basing it off of completely irrational takes.

So the offensive line being terrible along with him having a rookie qb arent rational takes?

quote:

Then you list two players with gigantic question marks in Gurley and Bell, way more so then DJ does, yet you have DJ as a fifth round grade and Bell/Gurley as 1-2 rd

Gurley will be the #1 rb in fantasy this year. There are no question marks with him.

Bell argument is very legit. I probably wont own any Bell this season unless the price in my auction leagues are cheap.

quote:

hammer it home by putting stock in Coleman in a crowded and completely unknown backfield

I know the man in that offense will put up elite numbers when healthy. Coleman will be the man with Breida as the backup. Handcuff the situation in case of injury and you will be happy at seasons end.

quote:

Your reasons are because you dont trust Murray, KK offense, and the line, which are all a better situation than last season where DJ still produced with half of his projected targets in what this offense is highly likely to be. Bad/rookie QB (your opinion), bad O-line?

He didnt produce anything. He was terrible. Massive volume that he didnt do anything with. Save me with the rb9 crap. I look at my rb situations as a single entity. Handcuff your rb1. There were other situations who finished over DJ. Chiefs, Jax, Bengals, Packers are situations off the top of my head where if you owned the duo and used the handcuff you got more production than the ppr9 back.

We all know that drafting early is about mitigating risk, and I dont see how you feel Gurley, Bell, and Tevin Freaking Coleman dont have at least as much if not more risk then DJ this season

I can name others.
Derrick Henry: That offensive line is flat out nasty. Will put up massive numbers this year.

Nick Chubb: Chubb is a monster, eill outproduce DJ this year.

Dalvin Cook: Oline looks better, Kubiak is there now.

I have others I prefer over DJ, but Im in a couple of other leagues on here and dont want to give away everything.

Bumping a thread where you proclaim Gurley will easily be the #1 player in fantasy. Bold!
