But if you look at the entrance to the SG section of the stadium, you see signs indicating no political or offensive flags allowed. Plus you’re correct that MLS tells the clubs no political bullshite unless they sanction it, ie pride month, military, etc. They don’t want to turn into the NFL’s mill stone of sjw bullshite.

I went to a match in Seattle.
I saw several Antifa flags and banners.
Maybe that’s the reason for such a policy.

I haven’t seen the sg entrance. I think sg do bring some cool things, but also are try hards and some come off like the collection of LSU baseball superfans which believe they are the main attraction instead of the game.

I think so, I believe the entire thing gained more traction after something in the Pacific Northwest started it. It was either the sounders or timber supporters bringing in political flags recently.

I think some of the sg wanted to lash out at the sounders fans being censored.
Sadly that is asking too much for the SG to just stand, and support the team.
