What do you mean "you people?" Joe has always been an intellectual lightweight. This spin doesn't explain his gaffes going back decades. Unless he's literally been the dumbest person in the room for years.

Well, I mean, he has.
Except for when he’s had to share the room at the SOTU with the likes of Hank Johnson and Sheila Jackson Lee, that is.
