It was a reply to a CNN article making ICE look like the bad guys for enforcing the laws on the books.
I posted: “680 jobs for law abiding citizens now.”
I get this reply: “The're lining up right now...oh wait, where's that line??? The reality is that even the poorest of American citizens won't take the slave labor wages they pay, would you? Or would the payscale be different thereby inferring/implying a discriminatory approach, please educate me if you want as my advanced degrees can't make sense of what your'e saying and the reality of actions.”
Help me give a reply. ??

Her "advanced degrees' support the Chinese owner paying slave wages to non citizens to give a market advatage to his company? Why? Are we, as a country, short on poultry producers? So much so that she wouldn't support a $15 minimum wage for legal workers, of any nationality, to be there?

First, Gender Studies is not an advanced degree.
Second, the owners can pay Americans a decent wage if they are having problems finding workers. Isn't that what their $15 an hour minimum wage is about?
Third, if we cut back on the amount of handouts we give lazy people, you can bet your arse that they would take a job at chicken farm.

Here’s my take on illegal workers in a free market society.
When there is a segment in the workforce who will work for less the free market’s innovation and ingenuity are stunted...as are wages.
Necessity is the mother of invention.
If there were no cheap laborers , employers would have to do one of two things- pay an increased wage to attract employees OR invent/ create a process that meets its goals, whether that be automation or increase efficiency, etc...

Out of work Americans will take the jobs. Trust me. I know. I’ve heard the complaints from the persons excluded from the jobs because of the hiring practices of places like this.

This is kind of the problem that leftists want to pretend doesn’t exist. Illegal immigration hurts wages. Without them the owners would have to adjust pay in order to acquire workers.
Also, I’d ask why they are ok with brown skinned folks being paid “slave wages”.
