Place Your Bets...Will We See Prosecution of Criminal Charges From the FISA Investigation?

I say YES, with the number and targets still murky. The paper trail of wrongdoing appears to be turning from pencil to ink with the public disclosure of the 302’s addressing the FISA fraud.

I want to believe but I’m so jaded with our justice system

I have no faith in the govt holding govt personnel responsible... especially when it comes to over exerting bureaucratic power over civilians.

Sadly, you may be correct as to the level of the actor charged.Horrible for our country,if so.

Yes, the FBI will be hard hit.
I don’t expect them to roll over and take down any of Obama’ Administration like his DOJ etc. hope I’m wrong! I’d kill to see a Trump pardon for Obama!

Not a chance. They are above the law.

NO. Unless some process crime crap on some low hanging fruit.

Unfortunately no. And Barr has already hinted at this himself:
It is clear that his standard is criminal intent. And lately, that is exactly how all these big fish have been allowed to walk recently.
quote:
JAN CRAWFORD: But you have concerns about how they conducted the investigation? WILLIAM BARR: Yes but you know, when you're dealing with official government contact, intent is frequently a murky issue. I'm not suggesting that people did what they did necessarily because of conscious, nefarious motives. Sometimes people can convince themselves that what they're doing is in the higher interest, the better good. They don't realize that what they're doing is really antithetical to the democratic system that we have. They start viewing themselves as the guardians of the people that are more informed and insensitive than everybody else. They can- in their own mind, they can have those kinds of motives. And sometimes they can look at evidence and facts through a biased prism that they themselves don't realize

That's what I was going to say. They will take the position they legitimately thought there was Russian interference and had to protect the country. They will also say they had bad sources/data, but I think that's a lie because there are some breadcrumbs that suggest they knew the dossier was garbage.

Question: Other than for concern over appearances, why doesn’t the executive branch release the 302’s instead of it being done slowly through Judicial Watch and FOIA requests? I seem to recall Trump indicating he would do it or at least authorize it.
I’ll hang up and listen.
