Recently was lucky enough to get into Lucali (Carrol Gardens, Brooklyn) this week.
And well worth it.
Probably my top.

Any one else?

50 Kalo was my single best pizza, but da Michele is a very close second and was more consistent.

Sausage and pepperoni from Moe's New York style pizza, Biloxi, Mississippi...I've yet to find anything as good.

Well worth the 5 dollars.

I’ve had Chicago deep dish in Chicago. New York style in New York. My favorite remains Dominos PAN extravaganza. Love it

Deluca’s Pizza, Italian sausage, in Hot Springs AR.

I’ve had good pizza in NYC, Chicago, at home, etc., but that Arkie pizza is our favorite. Comes in one size, big AF, so bring friends.

Definitely a single slice, folded over, from any corner stand in NY.

Use to get their thin crust all the time.

What does the NY pizza taste like? Pictures of it do not look appealing at all, but always has great reviews.

Not exactly NY style but it was just very good. Crust, sauce, toppings. Just a great pizza place when we lived there.

I'm probably in the minority here but I like California styled pizzas

The thinner the crust the better IMO but I like their creative use of toppings

I like other pizzas as well but that style is my favorite

One of my favorite pizzas was actually at a pretty nondescript chain called Sammy's Woodfired Pizza in Torrance, CA

Johns on Bleeker.

Hopefully you went to Other Half while in Carrol Gardens. Gumbo Bros is close by too which has legit gumbo.
