and then I realized... I may be screwed from seeing Pels games... FU Dish

so I just moved into a new apartment in Alexandria... where I realized late that they have a contract with a company in Monroe to be the sole telecom provider for the whole complex
that company provides TV service through Dish Network
so when talking with the company... I specifically said I wanted to make sure I got FSNO so I can watch Pelicans games... they made sure I got their sports package with all the local Fox Sports channels
well... right now... all the local Fox Sports channels are off of Dish (this includes you cord cutters who use Sling)
I assume the contract talks are still ongoing... but right now a lot of MLB games are off Dish... and if this gets to late October or November... it could mean missing Pelicans games too
come on Dish & Fox Sports... get your shite together

I hope it really migrates over to that sub. Can’t say how many times I had to go to events where I couldn’t catch the game and nbastreams was my savior.

man i'm ditching directTV this week...all i ever watch is cooking TV and nature shows anyway, in addition to live sports. not worth 100/mo to scroll thru 300+ channels of shopping shows and reality TV

I told Eatel they could shove their cable up their arse because of this. I went to PSVue , saved money, see Pels, don't miss paying double for shite I don't watch.

You get the Pels on Roku? I have Direct TV too. Sports n HGTV is all they have I watch. All I need is Saints, Pels, LSU.....

NFL streams on reddit! Having a vpn makes life so much simpler and cheaper! Any sporting event I can’t get on Hulu or Espn I can find a stream through Reddit in no time and there’s always a good stream somewhere on the post. I’ll either stream on the IPad, computer or hook the HDMI cord into the tv and stream with the computer that way. Highly recommend NordVPN if you don’t have one already! Fiancé and I use it to get all of our shows, movies, and sporting events we have to stream but I saw they’re running some deals right now so if you don’t already have a VPN service I’d definitely look into nord for sure. It made last football and basketball season so nice and allowed us to drop direct tv and that’s been very very very nice
