Not any one thing. And not necesssrily anything from this site. Just thinking about opinions (useless) and facts and how people select their facts and drawing false conclusions because they don’t use valid facts. Just seeing people agree with stuff because “it’s logical” and just thinking, “sure, that’s logical but they’re still drawing bad conclusions.”

Ah, totally agree. This is most likely to take place in fields where rhetoric is elevated above dispassionate rationalization *cough* sociopolitics *cough*
