For any of you Baws with a woman that sheds and a regular bath/shower drain.

I present you with the greatest invention ever.
The tubshroom.... No more digging hair out of the drain.
Just remove your drain stopper, slide this bad boy in, and then when the water seems to not be draining well pop it out, wipe the hair off, and pop it back in.
Sold on amazon and various other locations for around 12 dollars.

I took the stopper out, and she just cleans the hair with needle nose pliers when it slows down. Nobody is trying to take a bath, so there's no need for a stopper

I just use one of those plastic snakes in our tub. Works really well.

Straighten out a clothes hanger, bend a little hook in the end my solution...

This is so much easier than using pliers, wire hooks, or snakes. Those are the ways I used to handle the issue.
Now I can do it while I'm taking a shower without any tools.
It has like 4.5 stars with 17,000 something reviews on amazon.

My shower and tub are separate, but if I were to put that in either, I can’t even imagine the amount of crap my kids would think to put down the drain.

Yeah, it may not be for you if you have young kids.

my shower and tub are separate, but my wife draws native american cave art on the shower walls instead of it going down the drain. I feel like an archaeologist every time I go to take a shower

Bump. I just got one because I saw this thread a while back and this thing is a life saver. It's incredible how well it works. Thanks for the recommendation

Now, if someone would only invent something to keep her hairs from getting in my boxers and wrapping around my junk only to surprise me during a random piss break.

I use this in my shower drain. Works great and only 1 buck at the dollar store.

My adult daughter gave me one to try, she started using these in her home and says they are fantastic.
