Acuna just made Ender's HR look like a popup in the infield. Jesus, Ronnie. That ball had a family.

Both those balls were crushed.

This conversation between Chip and Byrd is so dumb. There’s no way any team in 2019 is using a pitcher’s run support for any sort of argument in arbitration.

Ridiculous that a major league catcher can't catch a strike with a runner on third. That's inexcusable.

Lovin’em!

Puts me in a Knucksie/Murph mood!

When I was in the Navy stationed in Norfolk, Knucksie was managing the Richmond Braves. This was the season we won the NL pennant and played the cheatin’ Twins in the WS. I sent Neikro a couple of his baseball cards and politely asked him to sign them and send them back to me in the SASE I had included. Also told him I was a life-long Atlanta Braves fan, he was one of my favorite players, and how excited I was about the season. Neikro not only signed the cards and returned them to me (which would have been plenty), but he also sent me a hand-written personal letter thanking me and telling me how excited he was about Atlanta’s season too.

I still have that letter and those autographed cards.

It’s gotten bad for Flowers. He is getting close to unplayable imo despite the framing numbers.

Flowers sucks. Wouldn't mind either bringing Jackson up or trading for a right handed catcher so he isn't on a potential playoff roster.

Flowers’ wRC+ is only 92. Somehow he has a 1.7 fWAR but a -0.1 bWAR. Does Fangraphs put a ton of stock into framing? I don’t see how the WAR is so far apart between websites.
