One is sexual assault and one was a part of 4 dudes beating up another. They are both bad but in today’s day and age, and especially because of what happened at Baylor, you have to be overly cautious with sexual assault.
Personally I think both should not be allowed to play until all criminal issues are cleared. I wouldn’t mind the NCAA putting their eligibility on hold while this plays out. If the charges are dropped like in the case of the Alabama player then he can return to the team with the same eligibility as when the charges were put in him. If they are convicted then they lose all eligibility moving forward.

Just play him and let the legal shite work itself out, it's been rumored for like 6 months now he should be good.
Bama played Deionte Thompson 2 full seasons when he had a trial pending for a felony assault charge. That happened in spring 2017 and he played all of 2017 and 2018 with the trial date pending, with the charge ultimately dropped in February 2019.
Ridiculous we play by different rules
aggravated sexual assault

You know they cheat bigger in Texas. They see Texas on LSU schedule and they are in no hurry to move along with proceedings. There have been many cases that have happened after that situation that have already been resolved. Or on the process of being resolved, but this case nothing. That young man should bring a lawsuit against The State of Texas for interfering with his athletic career. There is no reason for thos to drag on forever. He didn't go to UT or any others Texas university so get over it already.

So what you’re saying is “guilty until proven innocent.” An accusation without a conviction should keep you off the field?
In that case, Tua grabbed my pigskin and whispered “29 to nuttin” in my ear at Fred’s postgame.

Yes. This isn’t court, it’s college football.

While a bummer, OG might be the deepest position on the team. Hines, Magee, and Thomas will battle it out for the spot. Whoever wins out will be good to go. The interior OL should be stout this year.

I bet you would totally agree if your education was being interrupted.

pretty sure over the last couple of months more than one picture of players on campus have been on here. Ingram has been identified as one of the players in said pictures

The kid is charged with aggravated sexual assault.
I understand your point, but there are charges that are severe enough that should prevent a player from being on the field.

What I am saying is you put his college football career on hold until it is sorted out. Let the courts make the decision. If the charges are dropped or found innocent then they can play without losing any eligibility. If found guilty then their college football career is done.

I don’t know the facts but do know what he has been charged. It is surprising that there has not been a resolution to this. I agree that the punishment for this crime will likely steal his future in football at potentially a considerable cost. The time for him to fine tune his skills and show his talent seems to be in jeopardy. I hope he has good counsel but you have to wonder.

If only he'd been sitting in a car, using dope, in possession of a stolen gun, while we were using air conditioning.

Why? That shouldn’t happen until there’s a conviction
