I've been playing pretty dang well over the last 4 or 5 weeks. My only problem was my putter letting me down on makeable birdy putts and for saving par. Long game has been really good, I'm chipping better than ever before (thanks to the Phil video).

Well, my putter woke up yesterday.

Shot 5 over on the front, had a double bogey because of some low percentage shots I wanted to try for the heck of it... ended up costing me.

But I shot even on the back 9. First time ever shooting even over 9 holes. Felt great. Confidence was high. It was a damn fun round. 2 birdies, 2 bogies, rest pars.

Can't wait to get back out there.

Congrats, I went years without any formal putting training and after 1 round with a "knowledgeable" person my putting completely changed for the better.

Great round.

Remember though, your “best golf” is only a small fraction of your golf.
You will only beat your handicap 1 in 4 times roughly.

When you go back out, you may not play as well.
Don’t despair. Our “bad golf” is also part of the mix that is “our golf”.

Good luck.

The only sensible thing to do now would be to upgrade to Mizuno blades and xx stiff shafts
