Carl Granderson sentenced to 6 months in jail

Saints DE Carl Granderson has been sentenced to six months in jail after pleading no contest in his sexual battery case.
The Saints knew about the case when they signed Granderson as an undrafted free agent out of Wyoming in April. Coach Sean Payton claimed the team was "real comfortable" with everything it knew. It is hard to see how Granderson keeps his roster spot.

cant they list him on unable to play none football related list so he does count as a roster spot?
im guessing they factored it all in and have an escape clause in their that includes not getting that guaranteed money until he is cleared to play.
