Which is why it's weird that he's "Assistant to the Head Coach" imo. But perhaps we can only have X amount of actual assistant coaches, so this is a way to circumvent that rule and have an extra coach.
Unless I'm an idiot and it's obvious that was the goal all along.

This is who Wade wanted to hire to fill the assistant spot that Taz got, but Nickelberry is kind of toxic right now. This is Wade’s version of Saban’s Coaching rehab program. This is basically shadow staff.

Yea, 3 full time assistants who can coach on the floor and recruit off campus.
If a coach leaves in a few years and the heat is off Nickelberry, he would be a top candidate.
