Poor Snake Wandered On To The Wrong Back Deck

I'm out of town or else I'd just run him off. I've been lobbying with my wife and daughters to not kill it, thankfully they won't go out there(I don't think) but a neighbor is on the way to run it off or kill it. I told them it was too pretty to kill and they didn't agree.

Rat snake. Harmless and not aggressive. Hope they are able to run it off!

Good free rodent control! Hope he isn't needlessly killed.

If your wife and daughters are anything like my wife and daughters, you can go ahead and throw the furniture away....they'll never sit on it again

Non-venemous. Took about two seconds for me to tell. Don't be fraid of no snakes man!

Finally I did. Like National Geographic I looked at the pictures first. I hope the neighbor didn't make it back to kill the poor rat snake.

My wife would have grabbed a gun a blew it in half.

Reading just isn't your thing. Neighbor came over and caught the little guy and let him go in my field. He survived to live another day. I was happy.

if you have rat snakes, you need rat snakes.

Oh, I'm so glad the snake made it. I wouldn't have to call a neighbor over as my reading about snakes has given me a very thorough knowledge of what is venomous and non-venomous in the lower 48. I read well. I am so happy for the snake and the neighbor!
And, I even release venomous snakes around my property. I keep them at a safe distance though. Downvote away!

I’d burn down the whole house. I kill every snake I come across if I have the chance
