Bringing a new bull into our home (Rec Tec 700)

Mates, we are so excited about the arrival of our new bull tomorrow between 9AM and 1PM.
This beaut will deliver great performance for many years to come.
LOL at you cucks smoking on a Treager - times must be tough with such a lightweight grill.
Seriously though, I'll post pics tomorrow and of my first smoke over the weekend. I'm going from a $10 yard sale charcoal smoker to a $1300 smoker and am eager to see how much easier life can be.

Same....I have a neighbor who got one of these recently.
He cooked the most awesome brisket I have ever had on that thing. Perfect bark and fork tender.......all from an app. Yeah it's almost like cheating how you set your temps and walk away, only to come back to perfect brisket.

You still need to know how to prep, season, time/temp it, adjust during the smoke to get even cook, etc. And doing something a different way just because it's more difficult and time consuming doesn't make much sense. Yeah, I could chop a tree down with an axe, but a chainsaw produces a great result and is a hell of a lot easier.
