How much to charge for pressure washing a house

Been running lawn care / landscape business past few months. Have a pressure washer. Nothing special, 2700 PSI RYOBI gifted to me.
One man operation. No real overhead other than gas and insurance. Don’t know the specs of the house yet, but what is a fair number, either hourly or total.
I pressure washed a lady’s front porch and a portion of her walls for $100 last weekend, but that only took about an hour

20 cents a square foot
Be careful pressure washing brick houses. Brick aren't designed to be pressure washed. You will have a disaster on your hands when you damage some brick and can't find a close match to replace it

Your number will entirely be based on your expenses and production capacity.

Yea I understand, but I have nothing to base my production on as of now. Average dude at an average rate. Gas and potential repairs to washer are only expenses

IDK but i have a "regular" subdivision house with a rear loading garage and sidewalk, had a neighborhood kid rustling up business pressure washing, and since I had recently had the exterior of the house painted I just wanted the concrete done, he quoted me $400....nah, I am not that lazy ....yet

My step daughter is paying $350 today. No pun intended.

I have no idea here but are you guys saying 25 cents a sq foot that is cleaned?
To answer your question OP, certainly figure out what the going rate is. But then you need to figure out what you can do it for. I’m assuming you are going to use the homeowners water?

He could prob charge a little more if he ran hoses from his own house.

I pay $400 for 3200 sq foot two story house with a detached two car car port and probably a 400 foot room attached to it. It is two story. I also get the drive, two porches, and two patios done.
I think you should concentrate more on time than square foot as two story houses are going to take more time than a single story of the same square footage.
The guy has very good business and is well organized. He sets more appointments for the next year on the day he finishes.
He has some pretty big equipment and comes with two other people. They knock it out in an hour and half believe it or not.
If you start doing drives it pays to invest in a bigger machine and a large circular driveway spray head.

Since you don’t have any historical day you have to create it yourself. Do one for what you think your time is worth and when done do the math. Move number up or down.
You can buy an 18” circular Dewalt head for $99 at Home Depot and for flat surfaces it works great.
My neighbor just paid $800 for 2 story house all brick and stucco as well as fascia and soffits, pool deck, driveway and sidewalks. Took the guy a day and a half by himself and he did a great job. Working a pressure washer off an extension ladder is worth hazard pay.

That pressure washer won't last long using it that often. Plan on reinvesting the money in a better unit when it comes time.

I work for a commercial construction company and we have some baws who power wash. Most of the time we charge $.03 a square foot and $.05 if it’s dirty as hell.
This is commercial though and almost everything we wash is 100,000’s of square feet.
