This was a great win for halep. I’m surprised at how Serena didn’t even seem like she had a chance

Chris Fowler saying Serena just beat herself because of unforced errors. What an idiot. She had unforced errors because halep played great defense

If Serena doesn’t absolutely choke like six balls in the front court in the span of three games, this match is likely heading into a third set.

Key word there is “if”. Just give Simo credit for the win.

A lot of those errors were extremely unforced though. Serena is a shell

I’m not apologizing for Serena, you dunce. I’m pointing out that she choked and that, but for this choking, the match is likely level here.

She didnt choke so much as shes skipped training and eating right for the past 8 years and she is completely gassed after one semi-competitive point.

Meanwhile Halep is covering 5x the court that Serena is and is fresh as a daisy.

They need to make the women’s SFs and Finals of grand slams best out of 5. It’s a joke that Serena was out there for less than an hour and will end up getting the same prize money as the loser of the Federer/Djokovic match tomorrow.

Only 120 on an overhead? Somebody needs to step their game up.

Does espn not have the ability to show replays? There have been some fantastic points in this doubles match and they don’t reshow them

I do find it interesting how two of the most mentally tough tennis players in history, Serena and Rafa have turned into total mental midgets over the last two years.
