Couldn't really walk. Like I said, the vehicle was priced nice and there was someone else on the lot to purchase the car if I did not.
Like the post says, issue is not really the price. Issue is that car buying is no longer an experience. It's a transaction.
They're not trying to earn your return biz or establish a relationship or even a referral. They are after the quick sale and on to the next one.
Just pointing out that its different.

You should have got up and REAIIY walked away if he didn't want to work with you. He said I'm Alpha, you conceded you were Beta. Don't come here looking for feels good. You know you were taken advantage of.

I kept waiting for "got up and walked", but it never came. This option seems like it never occurs to anyone. Car dealerships are like irrational women: they think they have you by the ying-yang. You just have to turn your back and walk away and they'll chase after you. Next time you buy a car, go with options.
