Why does everyone just automatically assume that Hispanics are going to vote Democrat?

Most Hispanics are:
Incredibly hard workers
Devout Christians
Devoted to family
Very self sufficient
Anti-abortion
Patriotic
The list goes on and on.
NONE of those attributes are closely associated with the Democratic party. Why do we automatically assume that Hispanics will vote Democratic?
Which brings me to the next question. Trump has postponed deportations throwing immigration reform directly at the feet of Congress where it belongs. Say that a "deal" is worked out, who's going to get credit for it? The Congress that hasn't done shite for years or the POTUS that demanded that Congress act?

Hispanics will be a republican voting block eventually.
Data shows that college educated and 3+ generation hispanics are about 50-50 in who they vote for.

Because they always have. They don't vote dem 90%+ like blacks do but they are always a dem majority and will be for quite a while.

Ialians, germans, eastern europeans, irish, etc all followed this trend.
Notable exception is jews

Look at the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. Solid blue. Muy Mexicano.

You have to think those who've gone through or are going through the process the correct way, crossed all t's and dotted all i's, are none too pleased with a Dem effort that results in devaluation and disrespect of their diligent and proud efforts. They should also be concerned that the piece of the pie they're working so hard to achieve will be cut much smaller and opportunities diluted in the free for all. They are surely upset at that enabling.

I believe they will vote Dim today at a +60% clip. Bush got around 40% of the Hispanic vote in 2004. Obammy hit over 70% in 2012, so the trend is going Dim, that’s been aided by the Dims and the DimMedia pushing the message that white conservatives are anti immigration and racist....it’s working. I do believe years down the road the Hispanic vote could move back towards a 50/50 split.

Because they have historically.
Because despite all that shite, they come from socialist countries and are too fricking stupid to realize that it was those policies that made their country the shithole they were fleeing.

Black folks have many similar qualities as a group... Look how well that's going for Rs.
Logically, they should vote for Rs. Liberals and suppoters aren't logical.

Illegals vote Democrat. Hispanic Americans vote Republican or Democrat.
