Justice Thomas and Gorsuch with dissent. Thomas very astute and supportive of the MS Court

Why did Gorsuch side with the government in a due process case? He usually thinks the ACLU is too conservative on those cases.

I’m not going to go deep into this, but this guy needs to be free. This DA in Mississippi is about as fricked up as snake in a bush-hog working this hard to put this random black guy to sleep.

Read the facts of this case. They're going to try this guy for the 7th time. Three prior cases were overturned for some form of prosecutorial misconduct and two were hung juries. Now this. Set this man free.

The DA that keeps going after him is an absolute joke

frick him

Flowers should also be thankful as hell to the podcast that covered his story. Unlike serial they actually covered an innocent guy and hopefully got him freed

Take that to the Calm and Rational Board....this is the Conspiracy Theory and Associated Rage Board!!

I cant believe this....Im chronically trying to push the idea that people are overreacting to anything and everything, but (assuming the "worrying" is on my part) here I am being told Im overreacting....

The Left is all hyperbole and nonsense.

The black left is even worse because they get all their marching orders from people who want to keep them enslaved.

So they feed them nonsense 24/7. And then they spout nonsense and make fools of themselves.
quote:

"With a Justice Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court, we could see reversals of hard-won gains securing equal opportunity in education, employment and housing. We could see further exclusion of communities of color from participation in our democracy. We could see racism continue to flourish within the criminal justice system. We could see the elimination of effective tools for proving discrimination. We could see the overturning of Roe v. Wade and the guarantee to accessible health care for millions."

I mean what is this? Just hyperbolic nonsense. Black left never does themselves any favors hitching their wagon to a white left that gives them ridiculous talking points.

Nothing in that diatribe makes any rationale sense.

"Hard won gains securing equal opportunity in education"

(Everyone already has equal opportunity under the law, which is what Kav deals with...this can only mean, they fear Kavanaugh would try to roll back Affirmative Action which isn't equal opportunity.)

Employment? How would Kavanaugh deny equal opportunity? Legally? What law would come before the SC that would deny black people the equal opportunity at a job and the SC would uphold it? Unless equal opportunity mean't quotas and Affirmative Action.

Housing? What discriminatory housing laws would Kav uphold?
quote:

We could see further exclusion of communities of color from participation in our democracy.

On what planet does this have to do with a SC Justice? What law could Kav enact (none) that would exclude black American citizens from participating in our democracy?

"We could see the elimination of effective tools for proving discrimination."

I have no idea what this gobbledygook means.

This is just leftist gibberish.

Hell of a podcast. I don't know what kind of award you can get for something like that, but it is deserved.

And yes, the prosecutor is vile and clearly rejects in the rule of law.

Kavanaugh also deserves props for his take on this. He grilled the prosecution and it was glorious.

Replace Kavanaugh with Gorsuch and this statement is correct. The Curtis Flowers case is proof.

Kav >>> Gorsuch
