I put fresh orange blinker fluid in before we left, so that’s not it.

Pretty sure you used the clear blinker fluid, not orange.

Its a Heater Hose.... Here is a link to replace it.... LINK
God Dam GM and their crappy plastic parts! I had a radiator hose elbow connector blow out on me before. Nothing worse than sitting on the side of the road because of a $.25 part

Heater hose fitting - they are plastic and get brittle after a few yrs. Just broke one on the wife's Tahoe a few weeks ago while changing spark plugs. Not that big of a deal assuming you didn't overheat the engine.
You could plug the hoses with bolts and hose clamps to get out of a bind, if you have water/coolant, but you'll have cut both hoses.

It’s been a while and very sporadic! Decided to see if the board was still useful! It is!

Heater hose coming from radiator. Just cut the other hose and connect the two hoses by-passing the heater so that you can get back up and running. Fix it in the winter.

That is your black smoke hose. No biggy, just pop it back in place

What's the over/under on all of the "_____ fluid" or flux capacitor, or other completely lame answers coming from people who are supposed to be men, but have NO IDEA what anything under the hood of a truck is, let alone how to fix it?
