I was about to say, you could replace "1/9/12" with "Troy" and "Miles" with "O" and it would be right on point.
Of course it would. There hasn't been any progress. Things have stayed stagnant so far. In my opinion anyway.
I realize others see things differently. Don't understand how or why. A 10-3 record in 2018 is no better than a 10-3 record 5 or 6 years ago.

Dude, why post this, IRS never going to happen.

You don’t know your history very well. Those 180 or so in the Alamo gave him fits until the last man died.

Not to be over dramatic, but it’s a must-win IMO.
I like that we have the GA Southern game as a tune-up, i think that could ultimately decide the game in our favor.. in past openers where we’ve come out ‘cold’ against decent teams, a la Oregon, TCU etc- it’s been played on a neutral field.. If we went into UT first game of the year cold, we lose that game i think, but having that game to prepare allows us to gel just enough to win... i hope.

If he loses to Herman it will derail the season because of his mental fragility.
He’s still not over the A&M loss.

It depends on how they lose.

Wow. This is only true in your head.

You mean Ed’s head?
Fortunately I believe LSU is the more talented roster and should win by a touchdown.
BUT, if LSU does lose (which I don’t think they will), LSU will go 8-4 next season.

No I meant your head. There's no way that you can say that with certainty. You're talking out of your arse. You want to insult other people then you post something that you can't possibly substantiate about Ed's mental state.

Uhhhh you serious? He couldn’t even speak after the game. He still can’t comment on it without getting upset.

Ok so the whole season hinges on a game that won't be played until Thanksgiving. Somehow it'll effect other games during the season and O hasn't been able to speak since last fall.

That’s not what I said. Learn how to read, ace.

I know how to read. Why would it surprise you that if you can make something up that someone else could make something up as well.

what did I make up?
I said a loss to UT would derail the season. This game means a lot to O, just like the a&m game did, because for him, it is personal.
and then I provided you with a link showing that Eddy is still not over the a&m game...thats absurd.
It's one thing for us fans to still be butthurt about that game, but as the coach you have to have the mental fortitude to move on. This is a new season, the coach can't be seen still mulling over shitty refereeing from 7 months ago. thats ridiculous.

is this a reference to Eddy crushing cans against his forehead to get his players fired up?

I'll speak up for the proponents since none of the appear to be able to articulate the point that I'm about to make.
What they mean to say is that though the records are the same, the trajectory of the current coach is an ascending trajectory, whereas Miles was flat or descending. The issue is that there's no consistency in how they determine that trajectory.
Trajectory captures the imagination. They start to imagine where we will be rather than what the current record says we are. That's why 9-3 under Miles was the beginning of a horrible spiral into the college football abyss and 10-3 under this current coach is the best shape the program has been in since 2011.
It's silly, but those people can't separate their imagination from reality. So ultimately we'll see this year what the actual trajectory is. There won't be any more questions in a few months.

That it would derail the entire season. You're blowing the interview way out of proportion.
Posted on 6/18/19 at 11:50 am to The Shed
It'll set the tone for the entire year.
