None of this is new. This season was a huge disappointment and there's no way around that. Mainieri is as much to blame as any of the players are. Poor base-running, poor management of pitchers, poor line-up management, and poor motivation throughout the season are what CPMs job is responsible for. Our assistants suck donkey dick as well, and guess who's in charge of their hiring/firing? CPM. Next year is going to be even worse. We will be lucky to host a regional next season. Unless there's some kind of miracle that takes place between now and next year at this time, i dont see mainieri keeping his job for the 2021 season. Geaux Tigers.

Well done. There isn't much he said that didn't turn out to be a lie.
The same can be done for his preseason press conferences. Without fail, every time he says someone is about to have a breakout year, they suck arse.

Injuries didn’t help, but much of the pitching issues the past 2 years can be credited to Mainieri not only committing to Hess as a starter, but making him the Friday night guy.
