Police chase need to stop unless it is a known serious criminal offender. Been watching too much live PD cam and they always put the public in danger. Pit moves on the interstate, every chase blasts through stop signs and red lights, some going through parks in the middle of the day. Not worth putting 1 criminal in jail compared to putting the public in danger.

Did you really read my post? My client, a fairly large fire department had an accident last year that was similar and that is where my knowledge was gained not google.

Exactly.
He needs to file on his insurance and let the insurance company’s attorneys fight that fight.

This does not mean you can blow through a red light at an intersection while driving lights and sirens on and hit somebody and it be their fault.
Umm in Louisiana, it means this 99% of the time

Ok bro. If you want to be technical. But for purposes of the discussion it has the same practical effect.

Lights/Sirens have right of way,
Correct, but there are also laws regarding the operation of an emergency vehicle during emergency response. In doing so, you are obligated (cops, firefighters, ems. etc..) to drive with "due regard" for the safety of those around you. Pretty sure taking a turn so fast that your tires break loose would be describable as failing to operate with due regard.
