The o line guy that decomited , says at the end of his post, or whatever he was using to send out the message , respect my decision. He says it as a statement. No please or anything rubbed me the wrong way.

How bout he respects hisself and the decision to commit to something.. Respect, give me a break

First off, almost every recruit says this

Second, that dude doesn’t give a frick about your feelings and shouldn’t. He’s making a decision that impacts his life and is asking the twitter mob not jump him because grown adults like you get butt hurt and say nasty shite to him on Twitter.

Why on earth would he say please? The fact that, of all things, that he didn't say please rubbed you the wrong way makes you sound like someone who doesn't deserve his respect anyway.

Bc it’s what 18 year old kids do since adults slobber over them like they’re bringing in a cure for cancer

We’ve created a bunch of entitled kids who think we owe them something bc they’re good at high school sports.

Yes these high school kids need to ask me NICELY and RESPECTFULLY to respect their important personal life decisions. Then and ONLY then will I consider respecting their decision. These selfish millennials just think respect is GIVEN! Pathetic

It’s just something they say because they feel they it sounds good. No kid today knows what respect it. They don’t respect themselves but want others to “hand” it to them. That age group it mostly made up of morons. The exceptions are few and far in between.

I could go with you right up until you wrote the “respects hisself” $hit.

At that point, you went from being a reasonable person to a racist a-hole....

Once I got to a certain age being a fan and priorities changed. Just support the team on Saturdays. Following recruiting closely, especially this day and age seems to be too much. Social media has made recruiting a 24/7 deal where before it was more of a seasonal thing. The game today has a more corporate feel to it than college football of the 90’s.

It’s because millennials haven’t been taught respect so it’s hard to criticize them too much.

Everytime someone decommits, y'all asshats hate on the kid. When in reality a decent number of decommits(including this one) are coaching staffs telling recruits they no longer have a spot.

There's no reason to respect someone for breaking their word, imo.

He was asked to look elsewhere according to Vol so I’m not gonna judge this kid’s choice of words.
