Right. It’s the fault of the fan base that he’s lost recruits at critical positions. Random, anonymous people on a message board are the reason we’ve routinely lost elite talent to our biggest competition.

Solid logic. Can’t argue with you. I’ll clean it up

I don't know why the mods seem to have let this board go. It used to be closely regulated for a reason. I guess it's rant lite at this point. It was somewhat self regulated for awhile.

No you just need to take your shite to the rant. If the mods don't care anymore I don't know why I should I definitely have bigger fish to fry and other things to worry about.

Look, somebody is trying to practice elitism on the Rant, of all places!
Please be advised that I won the Nobel Prize in OL coaching, so my opinion must be better than yours.

OL will be the area of greatest improvement this year barring key injuries. I 100% disagree with your post. Depth and talent.

Online recruiting has been better than Dline recruiting. We desperately need offensive tackles But Dline is the thinnest position group for sure
Dont know why you got all the downvotes but you are correct. Two of our defensive line recruits were moved to Oline last year and we have decent depth there. Our defensive line depth is non existent following this season.

Bc there are many posters who don’t like talking about that reality. It’s odd, but apparently acknowledging this makes you a bad fan or a “sarcastic dickhead”

The same dude insulting people is crying about different opinions being tolerated on here lmao

Agreed. We have a ton of guards that can play tackle if need be. Here’s our spine classes from the past 3 years:

2019:
Siaki Ika
Joseph Evans

2018:
Chases Hines- OG now
Davin Cotton- Transferred to Southern
Dare Rosenthal - OT now
Nelson Jenkins
Dominic Livingston - Transferred

2017:
Tyler Shelvin
Neil Farrell
Justin Thomas

So 6 lineman in 3 years. 3 in the past 2.

For reference Alabama signed 7 in last years class, Clemson signed 5. These are there 2019 numbers only.

We’re bleeding at Dline and if the rumors about Guillory and Roy are true then we’re screwed. Let’s hope Alabama lands some big time guys and maybe they won’t have space. That’s how we got our highest rated dline recruit of the past 3 years.

I don't care how sarcastic you are or how much of a dickhead you are it used to not be tolerated here on the recruiting board. The mods did this for a reason. Unfortunately nothing is off limits now. At one time shite like that was kept to the rant.

Didn't Lester try this?

There may be depth at OL but, I prefer experience. I'm excited for LSU's guard to guard rotation but, not so much with the tackles. Lets just say I'm cautiously optimistic.

I don't recall wanting him to be banned. I recall wanting him and other's like him to be confined to the rant like they used to be. I'm sorry for your reading comprehension problems.

Again, it’s not overstated until it’s complete.

I'm going to have to disagree with you While it's always less difficult to have success with 5 stars across the line, there are plenty of scheme options to assist.

LSU's offensive line is comparable to plenty of other offensive lines, and Alabama has lost to worse offensive lines than LSU has had since our last victory against them.

Hopefully our scheme this year does a better job of helping the O line.

Dude what’s going on on the dline? Who’s the recruiter for these kids in Louisiana?

Who was sosphers main recruiter? What about Roy and Guillory? What about Byron young, Charles Moore, Nathan Pickering and Jaren Handy?

I don’t want to keep shitting on Dennis Johnson but who’s responsible for missing on all of these guys?

I think it will. And guys should understand their blocking assignments much better than last season. It's amazing how well the oline did considering all the trouble they had at the beginning of the season with blocking assignments. I really believe the 2019 season will be one of the best in LSU history.

LSU is already going to be in a tough spot for 2020, but if Glen Logan leaves "early" LSU will be fricked. He's in his 4th year so it's a distinct possibility too.
