Online recruiting has been better than Dline recruiting. We desperately need offensive tackles But Dline is the thinnest position group for sure.

Nah. He will be fired after 2 more years of getting his shite pushed in by bama, in large part bc he continues losing top linemen from his backyard to them.

Vol just told you Dumervile and Crawford were our main targets at tackle. Add in SVP out of New Orleans and those are three highly rated linemen.

Cool. Defensive linemen? What’s the word there?

This is the class to judge Cregg off of IMO. He's established himself now as not going anywhere, and coming off a strong season. He lands
1. Murao/Van Pran
2. Crawford
3. Dumervil
4. Martinez
5. Cam'Ron Jackson (grades are iffy at best right now)

And people have ZERO reason to bitch. But... if he swings and misses on some of those and we end up settling for less or missing completely, and I think it's time to warm up the bus for the guy.

If we land two of those three, I’ll be thrilled to see it and will post more high quality babes and Boosie GIFs than your WiFi can handle.

Trending hard for Crawford and Dumervi

Theres a couple names that I've noticed that still have LSU high on their list. I have no idea where LSU stands with these guys. Wondering if you know anything about these 2? Xavier Hill and Andrew Raym. According to 247 Raym is leaning to Okie but don't see where Hill is leaning to anybody. Both are very aggressive maulers. Hill doesn't have as good agility as Raym, but he is a beast.

With a DL HC, DL is not so hot either.

Miles, a former OL could not recruit O-Linemen, now we have the defensive version of Miles.

All we heard was how our lines are deficient in numbers and talent. But nothing seems to change there.

This does not even mention that Orgeron was recruiting our DL for years. We seem to get guys with creds, until you look closer...........injuries, character, you name it.....................

Yes, I'm sure the professional staff at LSU gives a shite what our welders and engineers on the RB think

Hey now, as someone with an engineering degree, I'd like to point out that some of those welders were top high school players.

You think it’s not a problem if he loses the two big local DL?

I see why you’re a laughingstock on this site.

You believe that if Ed misses out on a recruit he'll be fired. You have no room to call anyone a laughingstock.

If he loses two elite instate DL...with the lack of talent and depth we are facing in 2020....yea he better make the playoffs this year or there will be no forgiveness in 2020.

You can’t keep losing guys like that and think you get over the hump. But we can agree to disagree.

Let’s hope he doesn’t get beat for instate linemen by our biggest competition yet again.

Careful. You’ll get told you have bama inferiority complex bc you understand they stand in our way and happen to be our biggest competition

You don't seem to have an understanding of what's happening with LSU concerning recruiting right now. That's ok not everyone gets everything. I doubt discussing it with you further would yield any positive results so you go ahead and believe your own fantasies at this point. I choose to deal with the reality that LSU is a national brand that will have a helluva recruiting class. possibly the best ever and no Ed won't be fired and yes there'll be some quality linemen in it. Have a great day.

It’s a great class, but we need elite linemen. That’s the missing piece.

That’s all I’m saying. I’m sorry I’ve hurt your feelings.

One of the reasons we lose elite recruits is the moronic attitude of posts like this one and the very negative local media. Stating that Orgeron must make the playoff this year or be fired in 2020 does not help recruit anyone. Anyway it is mildly amusing to read the repetitive posts like this

Right. It’s the fault of the fan base that he’s lost recruits at critical positions. Random, anonymous people on a message board are the reason we’ve routinely lost elite talent to our biggest competition.

Solid logic. Can’t argue with you. I’ll clean it up.
