It’s not overstated. There’s zero rationale to LSU consecutively underperforming in the recruitment of best in class linemen.

We’ve got some quality on the defensive side of the ball but the offensive line needs depth, now.

Ed’s downfall may very well be that he can’t bring in the hog mollies to protect. I’m sure Ed O knows, but the time to close is now.

Trending hard for Crawford and Dumervil. As it stands now, I think we land both, and a near miss on Johnson. OL recruiting isn't "fixed" by a long shot, but its trending in the right direction no doubt. Also hearing we aren't out of it for Murao (sp?) the guy outta Cali. He's coming on an OV.

Both lines are a serious problem. The only way Clemson beat Bama was with 4 absolute beast-freaks on the d-line. Saban know this, and Saban could care less about defensive backs, if you can’t run or throw because the beast up front stop you, then the ball rarely makes it to the secondary.

Both line coaches are terrible recruiters so the problem starts there.

Cregg and Meatball are kinda pathetic.

And I hope this stays fresh on Orgeron’s mind every day until we’ve got a wall on the offensive line.

Again, it’s not overstated until it’s complete. We can rah rah about all of the stud WRs, and they are stud WRs, but the focus starts on the line. The problem is, this isn’t new. So it should be brought up constantly.

The ripple effect from the little ole recruiting board makes it to the right ears. Don’t fool yourself.

Yes, I'm sure the professional staff at LSU gives a shite what our welders and engineers on the RB think

And 60-70% of the top 25 OT/OGs are committed. There will be some de-commits but playing into the notion that “it’s only June” is playing behind the curve.

They’d be well served to fix the problem.

You may cut lawns for a living but some posters/lurkers on this board are two degrees separated from the top of the staff.

Let's wait till after this year to judge Cregg. I think you will have a different opinion by then

Crazy how some of the same recruiting issues (not all) we had under Miles continue under O yet people get upset when you bring that up. Stacking classes with skill players, underwhelming OL and DL classes, and recruits that are transferring at alarming rates the past few classes along those lines. Just sucks. We will not take the next step until we get some legit studs on the lines.

Yeah we know. If Ed doesn't sign an elite guard or tackle he'll be fired.

ok but the linemen LSU has prioritized haven't made their decisions yet. This is a pre-melt
